An introduction to stratigraphic principles, sedimentary environments, and sedimentary processes. Topics include properties, classification and interpretation of sedimentary rocks and their paleo-environments; stratigraphic nomenclature; and stratigraphic relationships and interpretations.

Prerequisite(s): GEOL 1103, with a grade of C- or higher.
