NURS 1214 - Professional Practice I

This practicum course has a focus on promoting holistic health and providing safe, strengths-based and evidence-based nursing care to diverse individuals experiencing alterations in health. Using relational practice, students will integrate understandings of patterns of health, the context of the determinants of health, and the principles of primary health care in practiced based settings.

Prerequisite(s)/Corequisite(s): NURS 1213.
Note: Students must be prepared to attend clinical anywhere in Calgary and be open to options outside of Calgary.
