ANTH 3225 - Maya Civilization Credit(s): 3 Lecture Hour(s): 3 Lecture Hours Schedule Type: Lecture This course explores different eras of Indigenous Maya civilization, from its inception 3,000 years ago to its disruption by the Spanish invasion in the 16th century. Through the lens of archaeology and anthropology, students will learn about many aspects of Maya Civilization, such as architecture, trade routes, religion, language, governments, and key figures of ancient Maya history.
