ANTH 3705 - Ancient Foodways Credit(s): 3 Lecture Hour(s): 3 Lecture Hours Schedule Type: Lecture This course explores foodways through the scientific study of archaeological food remains. Using a multidisciplinary approach, students learn how humans adapted to their environment by gathering, hunting, raising, and growing food in the past. Topics include past human diets, systems of food production, and the role of sociopolitics and economics.
Prerequisite(s): Any 1000-level course in Anthropology GNED Cluster 1 - Tier 3
