This course is an introduction to linear algebra for science students. Topics covered include vector spaces, linear independence, spanning sets, matrix algebra, systems of linear equations, determinants, and complex numbers. Applications in the sciences are studied with the help of eigenvalues and eigenvectors.

Prerequisite(s): Mathematics 30-1 with a 60% or higher.
