Spanish is the official language in 21 countries and estimates indicate the USA will be the country with the most Spanish speakers in the world by 2050. A minor in Spanish Language and Hispanic Cultures develops students' Spanish language proficiency at an intermediate level and a foundational understanding of Hispanic cultures.
