A minor in Medicinal Chemistry provides students with the opportunity to study the design of pharmaceuticals and their interactions with the human body. The Medicinal Chemistry minor is composed of five required courses and three options, for a total of eight courses. Course offerings provide opportunities to develop theoretical and practical skills related to the synthesis and evaluation of medications. This minor is not available to students enrolled in the Chemistry major.
