This course focuses on the development of oral and writing skills through an analysis of cultural readings taken from journalistic, scientific and literary texts as well as from other media. Students will learn oral and written strategies to further develop their communicative ability. Various styles will be explored in class, including dialogues, summaries, narrations and essays.

Prerequisite(s): SPAN 1103 or consent of the department.
