Other Hours Schedule Type Practicum
Further develop therapeutic skills through various off-site community outreach opportunities such as rehabilitation clinics, maternity clinics, intermediate care facilities, sporting events, and on-site business massages. Treat clients with chronic and acute pathologies and hone body mechanics, ethical considerations, and client-therapist communication skills.
Prerequisite(s):
Note: Students must provide proof of current Certification of ” Standard First Aid and CPR Level C”. Evidence of certification is required prior to the commencement of the experiential learning courses - Practicums I, II, III, IV and Outreach I, II, III and Case Study Lab. All associated costs are the responsibility of the student.
