The day-to-day practice of massage therapy is introduced in this supervised environment. Treat the public utilizing all skills learned to date with a focus on professionalism, time management, accurate application of massage techniques, and awareness of anatomy, body mechanics, and personal safety. Practice skills related to maintaining client confidentiality and privacy.

Prerequisite(s): A minimum grade of B- in all of XMAT 20701, one of XMAT 25002 or XMAT 20200, and one of XMAT 25006 or XMAT 20002.
Note: Students must provide proof of current Certification of ” Standard First Aid and CPR Level C”. Evidence of certification is required prior to the commencement of the experiential learning courses - Practicum I, II, III, IV and Outreach I, II, III and Case Study Lab. All associated costs are the responsibility of the student.
