COMM 5010 - Communications Honours Seminar

Honours students explore the synthesis of research and theory within the study of Journalism and Digital Media, Broadcast Media Studies, Public Relations, or Information Design. Students develop a literature review and research proposal in preparation for the Communications Honours Research Project (COMM 5020) in the Winter semester. Discussions will also focus on preparation for graduate schools and professional schools. Emphasis is placed on students’ ability to think critically, ethically, and independently.

Prerequisite(s): Final grade of B+ or higher in either COMM 3500 and COMM 3738, INFO 3600 and INFO 3605, or PUBR 3855 or PUBR 3860.
Recommended Preparation: Completion of at least 20 courses.
