HIST 4406 - Gender, Sexuality and the Body in Canadian History Credit(s): 3 Lecture Hour(s): 3 Lecture Hours Schedule Type: Lecture This course offers students an opportunity for advanced study in the fields of gender, sexuality, and embodiment history in Canada. Topics such as war and the military, labour and work, health and medicine, art and culture, leisure and sport, policing and the state, will be examined from the perspective of feminist, queer, and embodiment theory.
Prerequisite(s): HIST 2202 and one of HIST 1131 , HIST 1133 , HIST 2108 , HIST 2207 or HIST 2232 . GNED Cluster 3 - Tier 3
