This course engages students in the study of the language, literature and culture of the Hispanic world. Select topics may include Latino culture and literature in the USA, Spanish American Foundational novels, transatlantic texts, bilingualism, Spanish for specific purposes, among others.

Prerequisite(s): SPAN 3305  and SPAN 3309  or consent of the department.
