MATH 3200 - Mathematical Methods (formerly MATH 2207) (3 credits) 3 hours lecture, 1 hour tutorial Lecture, Tutorial This course provides an introduction to vector calculus, ordinary differential equations, and partial differential equations including a variety of applications. Topics include: optimization, line and surface integrals, Green’s theorem, Stokes’ theorem, the Divergence theorem, convergence of sequences and series, series solutions of differential equations, and the theory of systems of linear differential equations. Students are expected to do a project using a computer algebra system.
