PSYC 3353 - Topics in the Psychology of Aging (3 credits) 3 hours lecture Lecture This course examines the nature, causes and implications of developmental changes across the middle and later adult years. Following a basic overview of theoretical perspectives and research methods used in the area, the course will look at age-related changes in physiological, psychological, and social functioning. Diversity in later adulthood is also discussed, as it is reflected in gender and in cultural, lifestyle and individual variability.
