ENGL 2299 - Children’s Literature: Representations of the Real (3 credits) 3 hours lecture Lecture This course examines the relationship between the real and the imagined in works for children and adolescents. Focusing on classic and contemporary material that asks readers to think about who they are and what kind of world they inhabit, this course explores the literary, social, and educational values that inform the construction of juvenile realities.
