ENGL 2301 - Crime and Conspiracy Fiction (3 credits) 3 hours lecture Lecture Using detective stories and modern police procedurals, spy novels and psychological thrillers, this course examines the history and theory of crime and conspiracy fiction. In the process, it offers a critical study of the literary and cultural phenomena affecting those genres that deal in codes and clues, mystery and secrecy, suspicion and paranoia.
