SLGY 4731 - Selected Topics: Inequality

This advanced seminar examines the creation and maintenance of inequality, as well as actions for ameliorating its negative effects. It may focus upon a variety of themes, such as, global gender inequality, demographic inequality, and fair-trade initiatives. Students will consider both the degree of inequality and its existence as an unintended consequence of social arrangements.
