PSYC 4411 - Learning and Behaviour Work Experience

Students will be provided with a work-term placement applying the knowledge gained in the third-year Learning and Behaviour course. This placement will normally be in a business or non-profit organization that deals with applied behavioural analysis. Completion of all necessary police record checks will be required prior to work placement. Students will be mentored by a faculty member and a work experience coordinator during the work term. Reflective oral and written reports, completed by the student, in addition to an evaluation carried out by the employer will be required for successful completion of the work term.

Prerequisite(s): A minimum grade of B in both PSYC 2213  and PSYC 3301  or consent of the department. 
Note: Students are required to have a Police Information Check, Vulnerable Sector Check, and Intervention Record Check prior to the start of the course. These must be supplied to the Department of Psychology. Failure to do so will result in deregistration.
