MGMT 3353 - Business Integration Credit(s): 3 Lecture Hour(s): 3 Lecture Hours Schedule Type: Lecture This integrative course develops the applied skills associated with the implementation of business strategies across an organization. It focuses on evaluating the competitive environment and the internal resources that are associated with a small firm or a functional unit. From that understanding, students will explore how a manager or a divisional supervisor helps contribute to creating a competitive position for the firm. The course also helps students understand the integration of different organizational functions. Given the emphasis on the daily decisions of a manager, students will be able to understand and experience the challenges in running a company, through business-case discussions and an on-line simulation.
