MATH 2233 - Statistics for Biological Sciences (3 credits) 3 hours lecture, 1 hour tutorial Lecture, Tutorial This course involves descriptive statistics, some probability theory and a systematic treatment of inferential statistics. Topics include inferences of population means and proportions, regression and correlation, chi-square test, analysis of variance and non-parametric statistics. Applications of these statistical methods to problems in biological and health sciences are studied.
