NURS 2215 - Health Promotion with Populations, Communities and Families Credit(s): 3 Lecture Hour(s): 3 Lecture Hours Schedule Type: Lecture, Blended, Online This course focuses on the principles of population health, primary health care, health promotion and the determinants of health as a means of understanding populations, families, and communities and the larger social, political, cultural and economic factors that impact health. Students will interpret theoretical knowledge in order to make recommendations for nursing practice. This 2200 level course builds on the content in the previous levels of the program. Students must complete all Nursing 2100 level courses prior to registering for this course.
Prerequisite(s): A grade of a C or higher in NURS 2111 , NURS 2113 and an EP in NURS 2114 .
