COMP 2001 - Computer-Based Problem Solving for the Sciences (3 credits) 3 hours lecture, 2 hours tutorial Lecture, Tutorial Computers are an essential tool in contemporary scientific practice. This course provides students with a foundation in algorithmic thinking as well as exposure to a typical programming environment. Students also develop significant practice in scientific problem-solving and modeling using computer-based tools and techniques.
