ATTH 2112 - Clinical Musculoskeletal Anatomy(formerly HPED 2112) Credit(s): 3 Lecture Hour(s): 3 Lecture Hours Schedule Type: Lecture
This course builds on the concepts taught in PHYL 1512 . The focus of this course is specific to regional musculoskeletal and neurological anatomy. In addition, this course will focus on surface anatomy and palpation skills, while integrating previous and current theoretical and practical knowledge in line with the Canadian Athletic Therapists Association Scope of Practice and Professional Competencies List.. Students will apply anatomical principles to range of motion and introduce the basics of functional movement. Practical aspects of this course will be integrated into lectures.
Prerequisite(s): PHYL 1512 with a minimum grade of B.
