NTSC 3000 - Experimental Science for Elementary and Junior High Education

This course will provide science-teaching and curricular theory along with practical examples of material and demonstrations that can be used in a grade-school classroom. This course is a survey of experimental content and methods from all disciplines and levels within the Alberta Education Elementary and Junior High School Programs of Study. Students will be expected to participate in activities, write up lab reports, and design, test, and present their own demonstration to the class.

Prerequisite(s): EDUC 3106 or consent of the department.
Note: This course cannot be used as a General Science Option.
