This course is focused on an individual’s holistic experience of health within the diversity of family, community, health, and professional resources to support and promote health and health equity. Within a lens of relational practice (based on Indigenous Teachings from respected Elders and Knowledge Keepers), students will integrate theory and practice holistic health assessments related to determinants and patterns of health, foundational care principles, interventions, and health promotion strategies.
