This course will prepare students to undertake airport operations and management roles. Students will learn how airports are planned and developed and how revenue is planned and created through an in-depth understanding of each role and department within airport operations. Students will further understand labour relations, air transport industry negotiations, airport marketing, cargo and logistics hubs, and safety operations, as well as environmental, social, and governance issues related to airport management. AVSEC (Aviation Security Systems and Measures) and SMS systems will be reviewed.
