This course provides opportunity for Internationally Educated Nurses (IENs) to practice and apply the theory and clinical judgement skills needed to complete a holistic health assessment.  IENs will utilize a health promotion approach to conduct interviews, complete a health history, conduct physical examinations with the purpose of identifying, prioritizing, and managing alterations in health.

This course provides opportunity for IENs to practice and demonstrate competence performing nursing skills within the context of simulated patient care case studies. Nursing skills include assessment, clinical judgement, psychomotor skills, math for medications, relationship building, communication, collaboration, and documentation.
