Data, data and more data! This course focuses on data gathering, data management, and data governance within the context of business analytics. The course prepares students to uncover insights from structured and unstructured data sets to inform data-driven decision-making. At the end of the course, students will be able to work through the data life cycle, including pulling relevant data from multiple sources, organising the data, and using information technology to gather and interpret data. Students will also understand the fundamentals of ethical data governance and how to apply them in practice. They will have experience with relational databases and visual analytics.
