This course will build on the concepts from prerequisite courses. This course will integrate the assessment and rehabilitation of the body as a whole, viewing the assessment and rehabilitation of a kinetic chain. Rehabilitation will be studied from the acute stage through to the chronic stages of an injury. This course will address the typical situations a Certified Athletic Therapist in Canada is confronted within a clinical setting.

Students will demonstrate evidence-based, ethical, critical thinking, reflection, and collaborative practice while integrating previous and current theoretical and practical knowledge in line with the Canadian Athletic Therapists Association Scope of Practice and Professional Competencies List. Athletic Therapy students are expected to be open to working with diverse populations and gender identities across the lifespan.

Prerequisite(s): ATTH 3130 , ATTH 3152 , ATTH 3162  and HPED 3030 .
